The National Weather Service stated that a number of Berber regions of Morocco will witness important snowfalls, a decrease in temperatures, and strong thunderstorms, from today, Thursday, until next Sunday.
The directorate stated, in a special weather bulletin from Orange Alert Level, that important snowfalls will affect both the prefectures and provinces of Al Haouz, Chichaoua, Azilal, Beni Mellal, Tinghir, Midelt, Ifrane, Khenifra, Safrou, Taza, Taourirt, Guersif, Figuig, Taroudant, Ouarzazate, Rashidiya and Boulman, on Thursday and Friday.

It is expected, according to the same source, that the weather will be cold, with minimum temperatures ranging between minus 7 and minus 3 degrees, from today, Thursday, to next Sunday, in L’Haouz, Chichaoua, Azilal, “Beni” Ait Mellal, Midelt and Ifrane.
Minimum temperatures ranging from minus 3 to 2 degrees are also expected to be recorded in Khenifra, Sefrou, Taza, Taourirt, Kursif, Fakik, Taroudant, Ouarzazate, Tanger, Errachidia, Jerada, L’Hoceima and Boulman.
The directorate added that strong thunderstorms will affect, today, Thursday and tomorrow Friday, the provinces and regions of Figuig, Jerada, Oujda, Berkan, Taourirt, Guersif and Rashidiya, adding that these showers will be accompanied by gusts of winds, with the possibility of cold falling locally.
The same source indicated that moderate local showers will affect the regions of Agadir Idaotanan, Shtouka Ait Baha, Taroudant, Guelmim, Anzakan Ait Melloul, “Sidi” Ifni and Tiznit after Thursday’s demise, adding that strong local winds (from 70 to 85 km / hour) will contribute today. Provinces and provinces of Berkan, Boulman, Figuig, Errachidia, Guersif, Jerada, Midelt and Nador.
