The Republicans in Agadir called on the city’s inhabitants to participate in the protest to be held on the occasion of the International Day for the Fight against Poverty next Saturday, by respecting the health protocol procedures, such as physical distancing and wearing masks.
In a statement, the Republicans shouted the worsening social conditions of workers in most sectors in the city, and the real suffering experienced by the working class as a result of layoffs, expulsion and combating union work, not to mention the hard working conditions and lack of health and safety enforcement.
It also condemned the austerity policies pursued by the state in the social sectors, calling for the approval of a financial law that gives it priority.
In its statement, the Republican Front expressed its concern about the negative repercussions that the Corona pandemic has left on most sectors.
Also indicated that the increasing number of deaths and infections with the Coronavirus in the city, in view of the deterioration of health services, as a result of the lack of human resources and the weak medical equipment in public hospitals, which prompted the workers of the sector to go out to protest.
